The famous ship "The Bounty" as she approaches Pitcairn island where the mutineers burned
the ship and settled. Captain Bligh who sailed with Captain Cook on his final voyage as a first
mate was earlier put to sea, with a few loyal officers in one the ships boats, they survived the
mutiny, and eventually returned to England. Replicas of the ship have been built for movies
but no clear records exist of the original ships paint job. I have painted her as she might have
appeared with the trim of similar British naval vessels of the same period.
